این سفر بسیار مهم دکتر محمدباقر قالیباف، دارای پیام بسیار مهمی است. در حالیکه اسراییل، مقامات ایرانی را به ترور تهدید می کند، رهبر ایران با اعلام قبلی به نماز جمعه می آید. زود می آید. دیر می رود. عجله ندارد. تمام تهدید های اسراییل را به چالش می کشد؛ تا شاید مخاطبان جریان رسانه ای اسراییل که حتی در برخی از مسئولیت ها نیز قرار دارند، متوجه موضوع شوند. اینک قالیباف، مرزهای شجاعت رهبر خود را تا پشت مرزهای فلسطین اشغالی جلو می برد.
این اقدام دکتر قالیباف، بی سابقه است. بنابر اعلام رسانه ها، سابقه نداشته که در تاریخ جنگ های لبنان، یک مقام خارجی به مناطق مورد تهدید و بمباران همیشگی، قدم بگذارد. این در حالی است که اسراییل تنها چند دقیقه قبل از بر زمین نشستن هواپیمای قالیباف، فرودگاه مقصد را بمباران کرده بود. گفتگوی رسانه ها با مردم لبنان نشان داد که این اقدام قالیباف را باور نمی کردند زیرا پهپادهای اسراییل دائما بر سر منطقه در حال پرواز بودند. در ضمن حضور جاسوسان و خبرچین های اسراییلی در بین مردم و حضار اصلا دور از انتظار نبود.
فراموش نکنیم، ایران تنها تمدن واقعی غرب آسیا است. لبنان نیز همانند سایر کشورهای منطقه که از جهات مختلف در حوزه ی ایران بزرگ فرهنگی تعریف می شوند، همواره به ریشه های تاریخی خود متصل است؛ مخصوصا در زمانی که یک رژیم سیاسی-نظامیِ کاشته شده در منطقه، به تهدید زیست بوم طبیعی مردم غرب آسیا پرداخته است. در چنین لحظه ای است که حضور دکتر قالیباف به جهان و مخصوصا لبنان، یادآوری می کند که ایران، حافظ امنیت کل غرب آسیا در برابر بیگانگان است.
قالیباف امید را به غرب آسیا برگرداند. پیش از این، یک سخنرانی سیدحسن نصرالله، تمام تبلیغات رسانه های غربی را بر باد می داد و امروز، حضور قالیباف، همین اثر را بر جاگذاشت.
