یوسف نوری، استاندار مازندران، در بازدید از پل تقاطع همسطح فریدونکنار اعلام کرد که نخبگان دانشگاه صنعتی نوشیروانی بابل طرحی برای بهسازی پل تخریبشده ارائه کردهاند. وی تصریح کرد که پیمانکار مناسب انتخاب شده و این پل تا هفته دولت امسال محکمسازی خواهد شد.
نوری در جمع خبرنگاران تأکید کرد که محکمسازی پل باید بهطور علمی و حرفهای انجام شود تا از ریزش مجدد دیواره آن جلوگیری شود. وی همچنین افزود که طرح بازسازی این پل بهصورت گام به گام توسط استادان دانشگاه نوشیروانی در حال اجراست.
استاندار مازندران بر اهمیت صحتسنجی همزمان با محکمسازی پل تأکید کرد و گفت که آزمایشهای لازم با عبور خودروهای سنگین از روی پل انجام خواهد شد. وی همچنین با اشاره به موقعیت استراتژیک شهرستان فریدونکنار و فعالیت بندر در این منطقه، خواستار تسریع در بهسازی پل غیرهمسطح کمربندی فریدونکنار با دقت و حساسیت بالا شد.
فریدونکنار، شهرستانی ساحلی با جمعیتی حدود ۴۵ هزار نفر، به دلیل جذب حدود پنج میلیون نفر شب اقامت مسافر در سال و وجود بندر ترانزیتی، یکی از نقاط پر تردد مازندران به شمار میآید. این شهرستان به واسطه قرارگیری در مسیرهای مواصلاتی هراز و فیروزکوه، بهخصوص در ایام تعطیلات و تابستان، شاهد ترافیک سنگینی است که به چالشهای زندگی روزمره ساکنان آن افزوده است.
علاوه بر این، با توجه به قرارگیری فریدونکنار در محور ارتباطی شرق به غرب مازندران و ورود روزانه خودروهای سنگین به این شهرستان، بار ترافیکی و مشکلات شهری تشدید میشود. احداث کمربندی در نوار جنوبی فریدونکنار، که در سال ۱۳۸۰ بهمنظور حل مشکلات ترافیکی کلنگزنی شد، همچنان یکی از مطالبات اصلی مردم این شهرستان است. وعدههای مکرر در خصوص بازگشایی این کمربندی، نشاندهنده ضرورت توجه به زیرساختهای این منطقه است.
