محمود حسینزاده، فرمانده انتظامی فریدونکنار، در گفتوگویی با خبرنگار ما اظهار کرد که خوشبختانه در شب چهارشنبه آخر سال، هیچ حادثه خاصی در این منطقه گزارش نشده است. وی افزود که برخی از جوانان با حضور در منطقه پل میلاد، اقدام به ترقهبازی از نوع مجاز کردند.
حسینزاده در ادامه تصریح کرد که نگرش پلیس به چهارشنبهسوری یک نگاه اجتماعی است و بر این باور است که نباید جلوی شادی شهروندان را گرفت. با این حال، وی تأکید کرد که نسبت به امنیت و آسایش مردم حساس هستند و به دنبال برخورد سخت با افراد حاضر نیستند.
وی همچنین اشاره کرد که در این شب، ماموران انتظامی چندین تذکر به حاضرین در مناطق مختلف شهر، از جمله پل میلاد و روستای ازباران، دادهاند تا از بروز حوادث ناگوار جلوگیری شود.
فرمانده انتظامی فریدونکنار تنها حادثه قابل ذکر در این شب را مصدومیت سطحی یک پسر ۱۰ ساله عنوان کرد که متأسفانه از ناحیه چشم آسیب دیده است. خوشبختانه با حضور بهموقع عوامل اورژانس، این کودک به سرعت درمان شد و خطر رفع گردید.
حسینزاده همچنین اعلام کرد که ماموران انتظامی موفق به کشف و ضبط ۵۰۰ عدد مواد محترقه شدند. او در ادامه گفت که در حال حاضر حدود ۵۰۰ نفر در پل میلاد تجمع کردهاند و با حضور نیروهای انتظامی و امنیتی، این تجمع تحت کنترل است. وی هشدار داد که اگر فردی بخواهد با رفتارهای غیرمتعارف ایجاد خطر کند، با او برخورد سختی خواهد شد.
فرمانده انتظامی فریدونکنار در پایان از شهروندان خواست که از حضور فرزندان خود در اماکن پرخطر جلوگیری کنند تا هیچ مشکلی در آستانه سال نو برای خانوادهها پیش نیاید.
